Think about the skills and insights you would be comfortable offering to your networks. The process of networking is a two-way street. The key is to know your value, this will act as a confidence booster when you build new connections. ๐
Make a list of the people you consider to be thought leaders in your field, this could be anyone you think as inspiring. You may not reach out to the people on this list directly, take note of each person's organizations, communities, and affiliations. ๐
Thereโs always a a chance that you might already know some people that could be a great network for you and your business. These can people you went to school with, worked previously with, or have met at social events. ๐ซ
At the end of the day you are networking to promote and expand your business and your ideas. Pitching your ideas in front of others can be overwhelming and the best way to calm your nerves is to practice your pitch as much as you can. ๐
